Page of the Day #338: The Private Eye #5

Martin gives us a bird’s eye view of an area called the Tubes where P.I. and Raveena spook someone they need to question. At first glance, the inset panels seem like mere close-ups of what is going on in the main panel. They’re actually events in the sequence. Note: This is not a two-page spread. You can practically feel the swing of Raveena’s helmet before it hits its target. Moving from the long shot of Raveena running with the helmet in her trailing hand to the moment of impact effectively mimics cinema's rack zoom.
